1.6.1 New Features Planned for 4.1

The following features are not yet implemented in MySQL 4.1, but are planned for implementation before MySQL 4.1 moves into its beta phase. For a list what is already done in MySQL 4.1, see Features Available in MySQL 4.1.

Stable OpenSSL support (MySQL 4.0 supports rudimentary, not 100% tested, support for OpenSSL).
More testing of prepared statements.
